For people of ethnic groups, learning Chinese is the need for life and self-development. Mastering another language provides a chance of cultural identity of another language for individuals to some extent. Meanwhile, acquaintance with another language and culture also leads to conflicts with their own cultural identity, and even the loss of their native language and culture. However, overly conservative attitude toward language learning hinders integration into modernization and restricts the progress and development of ethnic groups. Based on the bilingual education background of Korean and Uygur ethnic groups, this paper makes a comparative analysis of their differences in language attitude and cultural identity.
