Determination of Formic Acid Content in Industrial Glacial Acetic Acid

测定工业用冰乙酸中甲酸含量需要使用次溴酸钠溶液。由于常温下次溴酸钠的不稳定性,按照中华人民共和国国家标准和中国药典中次溴酸钠溶液的配制方法配制的溶液,在测定过程容易引起测量误差,结合笔者多年工作经验,完善了次溴酸钠的配制方法,并通过实验得出结论,测定结果符合要求。

Sodium hypobromite solution is required in the determination of formic acid in industrial glacial acetic acid. Due to the unstability of sodium hypobromite under room temperature,the measurement error is usually made during the determination process with sodium hypobromite prepared according to State Standard of the People＇s Republic of China and Chinese Pharmacopoeia. In this paper, referring to years of work experience, the method of preparing sodium hypobromite was improved. The measurement result with sodium hypobromite prepared by the method can meet the requirements.
