Francis Kingdon - Ward, a British biologist, came to Khams - Tibetan to do biological research during the period of the Re- public of China and made great achievements in many aspects. The previous studies on Francis Kingdon - Ward have focused on his bi- ological achievements and political influence, and only briefly mentioned his 26 works and investigation lasting several scores of years. This paper uses his original works as the main materials and adopts the reliable information from the previous international and domestic studies on Francis Kingdon - Ward＇ s each investigation in Khams - Tibetan. It summarizes the main contents of his 26 works and gives a fairly clear description of some of his works to reveal his biological, geographical and cultural achievements as well as his political in- fluence.
