大学生学习投入的研究路径及其转型

On the Research Approach to Student Engagement in Higher Education and Its Transformation

21世纪以来,在"全美大学生学习投入调查"项目的推动下,大学生学习投入研究已经演化为一场国际性的大规模调查运动,中国在其中亦扮演着重要角色。虽然这场国际性运动所持的主流研究路径有一些长处,但其研究方法与理论基础均有重大缺陷。因此,当前的大学生学习投入研究亟待转换视角。除行为观外,未来的研究更需要从心理观和社会文化观审视大学生学习投入,采用多元研究方法与混合型研究设计。

Promoted by the National Survey of Student Engagement since 2000, the re- search on college student engagement had evolved into an international movement of large- scale survey, in which China also played an important role. Although some merits could be found in the mainstream approach to student engagement held by this international move- ment, there were significant defects in its research methodology and theoretical foundation. Therefore, transforming the research perspective of student engagement was urgently called for nowadays. In addition to its behavioral perspective, future work was highly recommen- ded to examine college student engagement through the perspectives of psychology and socio- culture, and adopt multiple research methods and a mixed-methods design.
