Cultural translation is a cross-cultural communication. With the development of social economy, cultural exchanges have become increasingly frequent, the importance of cultural translation has also aroused people＇s attention. The domesticating and foreignizing of cultural translation is the most commonly used method, in different cultural environment the translator should choose different translation strategies and methods, otherwise it will affect the cultural translation effect. Based on the concept of cultural translation, analyzing domesticating and foreignizing points and differences, and then translating strategies of domesticating and foreignizing in the translation of culture specific references are discussed in the analysis.
