21世纪英语的重要性是不言而喻的,如何将英语知识应用到实践中不仅是大学生今后职业生涯面临的重要问题,也是各大高校教学实践面临的问题。因此,在高等院校英语教学中,应秉承优良的教育传统,在教学模式上不断创新,注重提升学生的自主学习能力,逐步将项目化教学模式应用到大学公共英语课堂。这种以教师为主导,学生为主体的教学模式,以快速提升学生职业能力为目标,让学生在积极的工作环境中享受学习的乐趣,从而达到英语教学的目的。

The importance of English in the 21st century is self-evident. How to apply English to practice is not only an important problem faced by college students in their future career, but also the problems colleges face in teaching practice. Therefore, in English teaching of colleges, we should uphold the fine tradition of education, constantly innovate teaching model, focus on improving students＇ ability to self-learning, and gradually applied project-based teaching model to university public English classroom. The teacher-led and student-oriented teaching model taking the goal of enhancing the professional competence of students to make students enjoy the learning in a positive working environment, so as to achieve the purpose of English teaching.
