南京沦陷前后，出生于俄罗斯的国际红十字会南京分会委员科拉，曾从事中国伤员的救助和难民的保护工作。战后，他被指控为“汉奸”，但民国法庭宣告其无罪。科拉的自我辩护、律师辩护、证人证言，涉及和印证了不少南京大屠杀的史实。
Born in Russia, Cola was a member of Nanjing branch of the International Red Cross around the fall of Nanjing, and he was engaged in helping and protecting Chinese wounded soldiers and refugees. He was accused of ＂a traitor＂ after the war, but he was acquitted by the court of the Republic of China. During the litigation, lots of the contents of self - justification, attorney＇ s defense, testimonies of witnesses proved the very facts of Nanjing Massacre.
