Research on the Compilation of “Ancient Books Catalogue Abstract of Ethnic Minorities in China”

经十余年的编纂,《中国少数民族古籍总目提要》已揭示了36个(卷)民族古籍的信息。每卷书目都拥有完整的结构、丰富的著录内容和实用科学的分类体系。这一编目工程的实施,组建了我国少数民族古籍文献书目资料库,明确了我国少数民族古籍文献的属性特征,也衍生了大量的少数民族古籍整理研究成果,还完善了少数民族古籍整理体系。若继续修订或出版补编,改进编纂模式以提升效率,加强开发利用的宣传推广,此联合目录定能极大促进我国民族传统文化的保护、传承与发展。

＂Ancient Books Catalogue Abstract of Ethnic Minorities in China＂, after more than 10 years＇ hard work of government and each minority, has covered 36 volumes of ethnic minority ancient books with complete structures, comprehensive contents and scientific classification systems. The implementation of this compilation project has set up a bibliographic database of ancient books of ethnic minorities in China as well as discovered their characteristics, and perfects the system of minority ancient Books. With further revise or publish supplement, the compilation could improve the work efficiency by improving the compilation mode and strengthen the development and utilization of publicity and promotion, which can greatly promote the protection of the inheri- tance and development of traditional Chinese culture.
