在德布林的小说《柏林,亚历山大广场》中,柏林这个"城市空间"是主人公毕勃科普夫承受命运击打的"擂台"。一方面,小说的蒙太奇结构赋予了它一种鲜活的主体性,构成了"现代城市空间"饱含攻击性的暴力隐喻,它像施暴者主体一样,参与了为毕勃科普夫特别准备的"强制疗法";另一方面,混乱无序、瞬息万变的现代都市同样是等待毕勃科普夫去认识和感受的。作为外部环境的客体,它处在主人公牺牲命运的两端:一端是他毫不理解的诱惑和随时准备吞噬他的危险,而另一端则是"冷静"和"理智"的目光中这个"城市空间"真正意义上的客体化。
In the novel Berlin,Alexander Square,the "city space"of Berlin is the "ring"of protagonist Bi Bo Kopf's bearing the hit of fate. On one hand,the montage structure gives the novela fresh subjectivity,constituting a violent metaphor of the modern city space's full of aggression. It is like the main perpetrators,participating in preparing the special"forced treatment"for Bi Bo Kopf; on the other hand,as the object of the external environment,the chaotic,ever-changing modern metropolis is also for Bi Bo Kopf to recognize and feel,it is at both ends of the object of the external environment's fate sacrifice:one end is the temptation he did not understand and the dangere which is ready to devour him,and the other end is the true meaning of the objectification of the "city space"with the "calm"and "reasonable"views.
