America Support and Reasons for China During the Washington Conference

中国问题是1921年华盛顿会议上的一个主要议题,在华盛顿会议上中国方面为收回被帝国主义夺取的主权,实现民族独立和领土完整进行了不懈努力。中国代表团为此积极准备,并向会议提出诉求,赢得了美国及部分国家对中国代表诉求的支持,使得中国在华盛顿会议上收回了部分主权。美国在会上支持中国收回主权的根本原因是其远东战略和与日矛盾。此外,美国人民对巴黎和会分赃的舆论谴责和共和党人哈丁的竞选承诺也发挥了一定的作用。

China problem was a major issue at the meeting in Washington in1921. And at the meeting China tried its best to regain sovereignty deprived by imperialist states,realize national independence and territorial integrity. The Chinese delegation won support from American and part of countries by positive preparation and appealing to the relevant state in the meeting,making China recover part of the sovereign. American support for China to recover part of the sovereign of fundamental reason that was its strategies for the far east and conflicts with Japan. In the Washington Conference,in addition,the American shared the opinion of the Paris peacemakers and republicans Harding made a campaign promise also played a role.
