本雅明作品中的隐喻和换喻

The Metaphor and Metonymy in Benjamin's Works

本雅明的著作向来被当作隐喻的范本加以研究,戴维·弗里斯比、理查德·沃林等理论家只着眼于隐喻的特殊地位,而忽视了文本中换喻的价值与意义。本文将以雅各布逊关于隐喻与换喻的定义为理论基础,对本雅明作品中的隐喻和换喻进行分析研究,并以他的代表作《柏林童年》《单行道》等为例,从创作经验、呈现方式以及创作效果三方面对其作品中隐喻和换喻的存在进行论述。一方面,它们依然遵循着雅各布逊《隐喻和换喻的两极》中提出的相似性与毗连性特点,另一方面,被创作出来的隐喻与换喻因其所处的文本环境而呈现出独特的个人化风格。

Benjamin＇s works have been the model for metaphor study.Theorists focused only on the special status of metaphor,such as David Frisby and Clarisse Wallin,but ignored the value and significance of the metonymy.This article bases on the definitions of metaphor and metonymy of Jacobson to analyze Benjamin＇s works.Taking Benjamin＇s representative works,Berlin Childhoodand One Way Street,as examples,this paper discusses metaphor and metonymy from three aspects,constellation theory,creative experience and aesthetic experience.On one hand,metaphor and metonymy still follow the characteristics of similarity and adjacence.On the other hand,the metaphor and metonymy in his article present a unique personal style for its textual environment.
