城镇居民基本医疗保险对家庭创业决策的影响

The Effect of Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance on Household Entrepreneurship Decision

使用2011年的中国家庭金融调查数据,研究城镇居民基本医疗保险对家庭创业决策的影响。结果显示,城镇居民基本医疗保险通过缓解健康风险和风险厌恶对家庭创业的制约作用,使得参加城镇居民基本医疗保险的家庭更有可能创业。利用倾向得分匹配方法控制了参加城镇居民基本医疗保险的样本选择问题,用匹配后的样本,也验证了参加城镇居民基本医疗保险对家庭创业确实有正向的影响。文章为通过进一步推广城镇居民基本医疗保险,从而提高家庭创业积极性的相关政策提供了支持。

Using the data from China Household Finance and Survey（CHFS） in 2011, this article studied whether the participation of URBMI of family member affects the household entrepreneurship decision. We use method of propensity score matching（ PSM） to solve the sample self-selection problem, and the matched samples still reveal that URBMI has positive effect on the household entrepreneurship decision. The article also reveals that by releasing the negative effect of bad health and risk aversion on the household entrepreneurship decision, URBMI encourages household＇s entrepreneurship.
