Peste des petits ruminants （HPMPs） is a infectious disease with an acute, hot and highly contagious symptom caused by Peste des petits ruminants virus. The disease mainly infected goats and sheep and causeenteritis, pneumonia of young sheep, and abortion of pregnant ewes. This paper introduced the molecular biological characteristics of the virus, clinical manifestations, pathological changes and pathogensis and revealed the nature of Peste des petits ruminants virus, offering a theoretical basis for deseaase prevention and drug research
