立足当代实践,走出中西文化二元对立的窠臼

Contemporary Practice as a Way out of the Binary Opposition of Chinese and Western Culture

本文立足于马克思主义的实践观,通过对习近平同志相关文化思想的研读和阐发,指出文化上的中西二元对立思维未能看到以下两点:第一,无论中国传统文化抑或西方文化,在有中国特色社会主义实践面前,都是为"当代文化"和"现实文化"建设服务的,都是一种为我所用的资源;第二,从实践是检验真理的唯一标准的视角看,我们的文化自信不仅表现在对中华优秀文化传统感到无比自豪,有充分信心将其发扬光大,而且还表现在拥有广阔的视野和胸怀面向世界,借鉴和吸取一切经过实践检验的人类文化优秀成果,兼收并蓄,转换出新,既解决自己实践中的问题,也由此而提供解决世界问题的中国方案。

This article is written on the basis of the Marxist conception of practice and,through a reading and interpretation of Xi Jinping's speeches on culture and thought,it casts doubt on the purported binary opposition of Chinese and Western cultures which fails to point out the following two ideas.First,all cultures,including Chinese traditional culture and Western culture,are sources that can be used in the context of Chinese socialist practice to establish what Xi calls'contemporary culture'and'realistic culture.'Second,from the perspective that takes practice as the only standard for verifying truth,our cultural self-confidence means not only pride in our traditional culture,which we are confident can be developed and carried forward,but also a broad vision when facing the world,drawing lessons from and absorbing all the outstanding achievements of human culture and then transforming and renovating them so as to solve our own practical problems while also providing Chinese solutions to the world's problems.
