总结刘嘉湘扶正治疗恶性肿瘤及攻邪法度的实践经验。认为恶性肿瘤是全身属虚、局部属实的恶性疾病,其治疗应以扶正为主要原则,但应注意扶正与祛邪的辩证关系,即顾护正气与攻癌祛邪需有机结合,且适度攻伐有助于正气的恢复。因攻毒祛邪类药物多为峻烈有毒之品,故提出以"毒性"疗积时还应注意防药毒为害,具体应用攻毒药物时总以不耗伤胃气、祛邪不伤正为度。

The authors summarize Prof. LIU Jiaxiang＇s practical experience of treating cancer by ＂strengthening vital Qi＂and the rules of ＂eliminating pathogenic factor＂. The authors think that cancer is a malignant disease with whole body deficiency and part excess. Strengthening vital Qi should be the main principle in treatment. But the dialectical relationship between strengthening vital Qi and eliminating pathogenic factor should be paid attention. Protecting vital Qi and eliminating cancer / pathogenic factor should be combined. Moderate attack might contribute to the recovery of vital Qi. As herbs of eliminating toxin / pathogenic factor are most drastic and poisonous,the authors put forward that besides treating the mass with ＂toxicity＂,preventing the harm of ＂herb-toxicity＂should be considered.The right dosage for using herbs of counteracting the toxin should cause no stomach Qi damage and eliminate pathogenic factor without damaging vital Qi.
