In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, the historical event of Caesar's murder by Brutus and Cassius gets represented. To such questions as whether Caesar was a tyrant, and whether the murder was just, Shakespeare gives extraordinary ambiguous answers. However, through reading closely the drama, we might find that Caesar committed no crime, Cassius committed murder out of jealousy, and Brutus committed murder for "precaution." In Shakespeare's view, however, Caesar was not altogether innocent, and he chose to die for the valiancy and constancy as represented by the title of Caesar.
