Initial study on the role of effective ACE values on comparing centrifugal effectiveness

目的建立有效ACE值用于离心效果比对的方法,观察全血成分制备离心效果的差异。方法选择5台使用5年的Sorvall RC-12BP离心机,收集满载和半载时有效ACE值,计算ΔACE值(理论ACE-有效ACE),使用稳健统计法比较离心效果差异。结果有效ACE和ΔACE的比对结果一致,满载时比对结果出现不满意,半载时比对结果均满意。结论比对结果不满意反应出离心效果的差异,偏差大的离心机需要进行校正,该方法可用于离心效果比对。

Objective To establish a methodology for the comparison of centrifugal effectiveness by using effective ACE values,and to determine the difference in various whole blood preparation processes. Methods Five centrifugal machines（ Sorvall RC-12B） which had been used for five years were chosen. The data of ACE value obtained from fully loaded and half loaded centrifuge were recorded. Then,ΔACE（ ΔACE = Theoretical ACE-Effective ACE） was estimated and the difference of centrifugal effectiveness was analyzed by robust statistical method.Results Accordant results were obtained between effective ACE and ΔACE value. When the centrifuge was fully loaded,unsatisfactory results were observed,whereas when the centrifuge was half loaded,satisfactory results were observed.Conclusion The unsatisfactory results for the comparison indicated the difference in the centrifugal effectiveness. Centrifugal machines with high deviation require calibration. This method can be applied to compare centrifugal effectiveness.
