Achievement,Opportunity and Challenge in Native Poultry Breeding of China

畜禽种业事关国家农业战略安全和畜牧业可持续发展,因此种业发展一直是畜牧业发展的重中之重。本文结合我国目前家禽品种发展的现状和国际育种形势,解析家禽品种在国产化进程中取得的成就以及所面临的挑战与机遇。

The development of animal breeding industry is closely related to the strategic security of national agriculture and the sustainable development in animal husbandry. Hence, the development of animal breeding is the top priority in animal husbandry. In this paper, we summarized the current development of poultry breed localization in China and the tendency of international breeding, and discussed the opportunity and challenge in native poultry breeding.
