慕课时代下大学英语教学模式探究

Study on the College English Teaching Pattern in MOOCs Age

慕课(MOOCs)作为一种新兴的网络在线教育,在一定程度上挑战着现有的高等教育教学模式。高校教师需要改变课堂教学模式,提高自身专业素养和教学能力,以满足多样性、个性化、创新型人才培养的需要。基于对目前大学英语的教学现状及慕课相关理念的分析,通过改变传统的课堂教学,将英语教学的视角从课堂延伸至课外,提升学生的学习兴趣,最终提高学生在英语学习中的主动性,优化教师在课堂教学中的有效性。

As a new internet online education pattern, MOOCs is challenging the present higher education teaching patterns to some extent. College teachers need to change their teaching patterns and improve their professional qualities and teaching qualities to meet the demand of the cultivation of talents with variety, individuality and innovation. Base on the analysis on current teaching situation of college English and the relevant theories of MOOCs, this paper puts forward to that by changing the traditional classroom teaching, English teaching can be extended to outside class from classroom, and the leaning interests of students can be improved, eventually it can improve students＇ English learning initiative and optimize the effectiveness of teachers in classroom teaching.
