湖北襄阳桃花岭墓地明代墓葬发掘简报

An Excavation Report on the Tomb of Ming Dynasty in Taohualing Cemetery,Xiangyang, Hubei

桃花岭墓地位于湖北省襄阳市襄城区卧龙镇观音村五组,本次发掘的明代墓葬为同一土冢下南北并列的双室墓。墓主为刘鹏及夫人夏氏,其生活年代为明代中晚期,生前一直服侍襄阳王。墓葬出土的墓志、瓷器、铜器等为研究襄阳地区明代文化提供了实物资料。

The Taohualing Cemetery is located in Group 5, Guanyin Village, Wolong Township, Xiangcheng District, Xiangyang City, Hubei. The excavated tomb of Ming Dynasty is a double-chamber tomb under one mound. The tomb owners Liu Peng and his wife lived in middle-to-late Ming Dynasty, were both servants of King Xiangyang. The epitaph, porcelains and bronzes enrich the data for studying the Ming Dynasty culture in Xiangyang.
