贵州宣慰司的建立稳定了黔中局势,为后来贵州省的建立打下基础,贵州宣慰司土司势力的强大和反抗明朝"的奢安事件",最终加速了明王朝的灭亡。

The establishment of Xuanwei Prefecture was conducive to the political stability in Central Guizhou of the Ming Dynasty, which in turn contributed to establishment of Guizhou Province. It is argued that the strong power of Xuanwei Prefecture＇ s Tusi （ local chiefs） and ＂Deshean Incidence＂ sped up the overthrow of the Ming Dynasty monarchy.
