Analysis on the production and market situation of 2016 China paper industry

造纸行业2016年生产运行整体情况会基本保持平稳态势,产销基本保持平衡。预计2016年全年国内制浆和造纸生产量和消费量为：（1）纸及纸板生产总量约为10820万吨,同比增长约1%。（2）纸及纸板表观消费量约为10400万吨,同比增长约0.5%。（3）造纸用纸浆生产总量约为8000万吨,同比增长约0.2%。（4）造纸用纸浆消费量约为9850万吨,同比增长约1%。

Zhao Wei, the president of China Paper Association, made a prediction on the production and market of 2016 and 2017 China paper industry based on the data of Jan. to Sep., 2016. Zhao Wei said that the development of China paper industry in the whole 2016 would be stable, and the production and market would be in balance. It was predicted that the production and consumption of pulp and paper in 2016 would be as follows:(1)the total production of paper and board will be about 108.2 million tons, with an increase of 1 percent compared with the previous year;(2)The total consumption of paper and board will be about 104 million tons, with an increase of 0.5 percent compared with the previous year;(3)The total production of pulp will be about 80 million tons, with an increase of 0.2 percent compared with the previous year;(4)The total consumption of pulp will be about 98.5 million tons, with an increase of 1 percent compared with the previous year.The paper and board production and consumption of 2017 China paper industry will continue the development trend of 2016. The total of production and consumption will get a small increase, and the whole situation of paper industry will keep stable.
