Further Comparison of “Fenggu”and “Sublime”

"风骨"与"崇高"是中西古典文论与美学中有相似内涵的重要概念。"风骨"作为一种清刚雄健的力量与雄浑之美,体现在文学作品、人物品评、书画艺术等方面;"崇高"作为刚健的力量与巨大气势的美,主体由超越痛感、奔向自由之道的途中获得的独特体验,亦表现在风格、形态、道德、审美诸方面。在澄清各自概念的基础上,进行两者的比较互证,能够进一步深入认识中西文论关键词的汇通以及独特属性。

'Fenggu'in classical Chinese and 'sublime'in western aesthetic history are two significant concepts which contain many similarities. As a kind of vigorous,energetic and powerful beauty,'fenggu'embodies in literary texts,character comments,calligraphy works and paintings; as the special experience obtained by aesthetic subject who heads for his freedom by surpassing his bitter feeling,or as physical property that aliens to'beauty','sublime'lies in four aspects: style,form,ethics and beauty- appreciation. Based on each concept's clarification,to compare these two concepts and make mutual identification,it is helpful toe make deeper cognition of particular attributes and their fusion of the keyword in Chinese and western articles.
