《渑水燕谈录》科举词汇考释

Philological Studies of Imperial Examination Vocabulary in Mian Shui Yan Tan Lu

《渑水燕谈录》是北宋时期笔记小说的代表作品之一,记叙了丰富的历史史实、奇闻轶事等。除此之外,这本书中也不乏涉及到很多科举纪事,出现了大量独具特色的科举词汇。本文挑选具有代表性的科举词汇进行考释,如请见、谢见、温卷这样的考前活动词汇;弥封、誊录、覆考这样的革弊词汇和龙虎榜、棣华榜、连岁榜等放榜词汇。对这些科举词汇进行考释,有利于填补辞书空缺,明确其来源和意义,考察汉语词汇意义的演变,同时有利于增进对古代科举制度和文化的了解。

Mian Shui Yan Tan Lu is one of the representative works of literary sketches in the Northern Song dynasty. It nar rated the rich historical anecdotes and intriguing stories. In addition, there involved a lot of imperial examination chronicle and plenty of unique vocabulary of imperial examination. The paper selected some representative vocabulary of imperial examination to make a philological study, such as, qingjian, xiejian and wenjuan, which are the vocabularies before the examination, such abused vocabularies as mifeng, denglu and fukao, and longhubang, dihuabang and liansuibang which appeared in the an nouneement of examination results. The study of these imperial examination vocabularies will help to fill vacancies of the dictionaries, define its origin and significance, investigate the evolution of the meaning of Chinese characters and it will help increase understanding of the ancient imperial examination system and culture.
