徐特立“断指血书”内容考辨

A Defense for the Contents of Xu Teli's “Letter Written with His Broken Finger Blood”

徐特立1909年"断指血书"的内容应是"请开国会,断指送行"而非"驱除鞑虏,恢复中华"。关于"请开国会"之说,一是有关记载清楚确凿,二是事件背景清晰明白,三是符合徐特立当时的思想状况。相反,"驱除鞑虏"之说既无根据也无道理。这一说法的出现,主要源于革命话语的主导地位,是不符合历史真相的。

In the letter written by his finger blood, Xu Teli wrote the words of ＂Please hold the con- gress, and the broken finger is to see you off ＂rather than the words of ＂Exterminate the Manchus, and re- cover the Chinese＂. The saying of ＂holding the congress＂ has exact recording and clear background. It also suits the ideological state of Xu Tell at that time. On the contrary, the saying ＂exterminate the Manehus＂ is groundless and unreasonable. This saying is due to the leading position of revolutionary discourse, but it is not in accordance with the truth in history.
