新闻标题是一则新闻报道的眼睛和灵魂,是对新闻报道的高度概括和浓缩,直接决定了读者对新闻报道的取舍。以功能语言学的语法隐喻为理论框架,从语气隐喻角度对相关天津爆炸案的英语新闻报道标题进行分析,以探究语气隐喻在新闻标题中的人际意义和功能,以及语气隐喻的恰当运用有助于实现新闻报道的最佳传播效果。

As the soul of news report, news title highly generates and condenses the news content, and directly decides whether the reader will read it or not. Taking Grammatical Metaphor in Systemic Functional Linguistics as its theoretical framework, this paper will analyze the news titles of the English news reports of Tianjin explosion from the point of mood metaphor, from which to explore the interpersonal meaning and function of mood metaphor in English news titles, as well as the proper use of mood metaphor in news title is helpful for the realization of the best communication effect of news report.
