合作储存是纸本过刊文献的必然归宿

Cooperation Storage is the Inevitable Outcome of the Paper Overdue Periodical Literature

随着文献数字化、网络化的快速发展,纸本过刊文献利用率逐年下降,馆藏成本却逐年增加,馆藏矛盾凸现。然而过刊文献的价值是不容忽视的。纸本过刊文献实行区域合作储存有必要而且也是可行的。笔者经过论证认为,建设区域储存图书馆,设立专门的管理机构,确定管理机制和运行机制,借鉴国外成功范例,可实现区域联盟内低利用率过刊文献的共建共享。

With the rapid development of the resources digitization and networking, the utilization rate of paper overdue periodical literature is decrea- sing year by year, but the collection cost of it is increasing year by year. The contradiction of the collection is shown out. However, the value of the overdue periodical literature is not to be ignored. It is necessary and feasible to implement regional cooperative storage for paper overdue periodical liter- ature. On the basis of the argument, this paper points out that establishing regional storage library, setting up special management institution, determi- ning management and operational mechanisms, drawing lessons from foreign successful cases are the strategies of realizing the co-construction and sharing of the low utilization overdue periodicals in regional library consortium.
