摘要
国际研发投资通过三个渠道影响东道国自主创新能力,即东道国研发资本边际产出能力、研发投资水平及研发人员素质、研发全要素生产率。但不同类型的东道国拥有的过程机理并不一致。基于2000—2012年跨国研发数据,利用路径收敛设计方法,实证比较了上述过程机理在不同类型国家间的差异。研究发现,国际研发投资虽然有利于低收入国家R&D资本的边际产出能力,但总体上降低了其自主研发的投资水平和研发效率。未来应立足于国内市场提质升级、人力资本积累及企业家精神培育,以发挥国际研发投资提升低收入国家自主创新能力的正向溢出效应。
International R&D investment could affect independent innovation capacity of low - income countries through three channels, namely marginal production capacity of R&D capital, R&D investment level and R&D personnel quality and TFP of R&D. But different types of host countries might have different process mechanisms. Based on Multinational R&D data in 2000 - 2000, the paper has compared the process mechanism among different types countries using the method of path converged design. The results show that although international R&D investment is beneficial to marginal product capacity of R&D capital in low - income countries, but it could reduce their level of independent R&D investment and innovation efficiency. The low - income countries should devote to upgrade domestic market, accumulate human capital and nurture entrepreneurial spirit in order to promote positive spillover effect of international R&D investment and then improving independent innovation ability in the low - income countries in the future.
