论郭汝霖“使琉”及其《重编使琉球录》

On Guo Rulin's Mission to Ryukyu and his Reedited Records of Mission to Ryukyu

嘉靖三十四年(1555)郭汝霖受命往封琉球中山王尚元,由于史料的缺乏,册封正使郭汝霖的生平事功、郭汝霖代替吴时来使琉、中国拒绝琉球领封请求等问题多语焉不详,无法得到深入讨论。但通过一些鲜为学界注意的地方志、学界新发现的"朋僚赠送诗文",以及郭汝霖本人的《石泉山房文集》等材料,可以丰富郭汝霖的身世事功,展示时人对原册封使吴时来的多元看法,揭示在"倭寇祸华"背景下中国拒绝琉球领封请求的一个主要原因在于"不当示怯"于日人。同时对比郭汝霖的《重编使琉球录》和陈侃的《使琉球录》,可知郭录在"重编"中有"删文"、"增文"和"改文"三种情形。

In 1555,Guo Rulin was sent to bestow kingship for the Ryukyu king Shangyuan. Due to the lack of historical records,the many issues about Guo Rulin and his mission to Ryukyu have not been properly studied. Based on studying many rare academic materials,we could enrich the life and the cause of Guo Rulin,show the people＇s multi opinions about the former ambassador Wu Shilai who was taken place by Guo Rulin in his age,reveal the real reason of refusing Ryukyu king＇s request of receiving Ryukyu king title in Fujian under the background of Japanese pirates aggressive China. Comparing Guo＇s Reedited recorder of mission to Ryukyu with Chen Kan＇s book which is named Recorder of Mission to Ryukyu,it＇s found that Guo＇s book is not a simple copy,sometimes he delete,add and revise some contents.
