由于地理位置使然,终南文化将南国的游耕文明与中原的农耕文明、周的礼治与秦的法治、汉的霸王道、隋唐的儒释道等物质文化与精神文化融为一体。中国古代的制度文化和思想观念也在这里逐渐定型。具体体现在:周之丰镐与西周盛世、秦之凤翔、栎阳与富国强兵、汉之上林苑、昆明池与大汉雄风、隋唐之庄园别业与盛唐气象、宋以后之边缘化与转型、现代开放与文化振兴。终南山钟灵毓秀,终南文化活力永在。

Due to geographical location,Zhongnan Culture has been mingled with other regional traits such as the nomadic civilization of the southern China,Legality Overlord Tao of Han dynasty,the agricultural civilization of the central plains,the rites of Zhou and the law of Qin dynasty,Buddhism and Taoism of Sui and Tang dynasties etc.China＇s ancient cultural and thought system are also gradually finalized around here. And the above mentioned reflects in the following items,such as prosperous days in Hao area,which belongs to Zhou and Western Zhou dynasty; Fengxiang county and Qiyang in Qin Dynasty; Shanglin yuan of Han Dynasty,Kunming pool and the potency of Han dynasty; great manor of Sui and Tang dynasty and thriving meteorology of Tang Dynasty; the marginalization and transformation after Song dynasty,openness and cultural renaissance in modern times.
