试析章学诚之“圆神方智”说

Analysis of Zhang Xuecheng's Opinion about Shiji and Hanshu

章学诚之"圆神方智"说精确地道出了《史记》和《汉书》行文上的总体差异,指出《史记》通变化、《汉书》守绳墨的不同特征。尤为可贵的是,他并没有偏激地将两书截然划分,而是指出《汉书》亦有"圆而神"处,这种谨慎的学术态度值得后世学者效法。结合历代学者的评论以及《史记》、《汉书》之文本,可对章氏之"圆神方智"予以阐释。

Zhang Xuecheng said that Shiji was full of change and Hanshu was stick to old ways. He is right. And it is more valuable that he then said Hanshu sometimes is also changeable. The serious attitude should be learned by later scholars. In this paper,I want to analyze Zhang＇s opinions with other scholar＇s viewpoints and the texts of Shiji and Hanshu.
