Akiko Yosano was a famous Japanese waka poet, writer and critic. Her long poem Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare had long been regarded as an ＂anti-war poem＂, and caught the attention of the world. After the war, it continued to be trumpeted as an ＂anti-war poem＂. And Chinese academic circles also gave it high praise. However, from the poet＇s point of view, it just expresses her innermost feelings instead of anti-war ideas. It should be considered in the context of the whole text or poems.
