沈浩波在接受杨黎的访谈中指出,中国当代诗歌最大的成功在于：回到了语言,建立了语言,又正在超越语言,并终于在21世纪形成了汉语诗歌的现场感、身体感、生命感和当代性。他们还就白话新诗、现代汉诗、当代诗歌等概念做了深入讨论。同时,沈浩波对新诗百年历程中令他印象深刻的诗人们做了一一评价。

When ShenHaobo accepted Yang Li＇s interview, he said that the most important success of Contemporary poems of China is language： returned to language, built up language, and surpassing language. ShenHaobo emphasized that the Chinese poems had formed its texture of scene, body, life and contemporariness. Shen and Yang also talked about the different among the free verse written in the vernacular,modern Chinese poems and Contemporary poems of China. Meanwhile, Shen evaluated many excellent poets of China in the past 100 years.
