Under the theme 'Responsive and Responsible Leadership', the 47th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting took place from January 17 to 20 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. Chinese President Xi Jinping, the first Chinese head of state to attend Davos meetings, delivered a keynote speech at the opening plenary. Amid a rising tide of global concerns for protectionism,anti-globalization sentiment and other economic and political issues, President Xi's presence with Chinese wisdom and experiences at Davos bears tremendous historic significance.
