加强预科教育,提升来华留学生本科教育质量

On the Improvement of Overseas Undergraduate Education Quality by Enhancing Preparatory Education

2005年开始,中国政府奖学金留学生的预科教育逐渐步入正轨,但是自费留学生的预科教育还有很多欠缺。预科教育阶段的汉语学习为来华留学生日后的入系学习奠定了很好的语言基础,也是他们学习专业知识的保证。在激烈的留学生竞争市场,很多普通大学追求的还只是数量,来华留学生入学门槛很低,不能保证教育质量,为了保证本科教育质量,预科教育显得非常重要。提升教育质量可以从两方面考虑,一方面严格入学要求,另一方面普及预科教育。

Since 2005, the scholarship provided by the Chinese government for overseas students＇ preparatory education has gradually become routinized, but there are still many problems in self-supporting overseas students＇ preparatory education. In the fierce competition of the market, many common universities merely pursue the number of overseas students, failing to ensure the quality of education. To ensure undergraduate education quality, preparatory education is evidently important. Efforts can be made from such two aspects as strict requirements for enroll- ment and full popularization of preparatory education.
