Mechanical drawing is one of the basic skills of technical personnel of mechanical engineering. This ability can be trained with solid fundamental theories and practices for a university student. In this article, the action-oriented teaching meth- od is introduced and evaluated with its effects in the teaching of Mechanical Drawing. The results show that this kind of teaching method has great advantages in improving students＇ comprehensive ability and teaching quality.
