The Overview and Enlightenment of the Student Affairs Administration in the Higher Education of Britain

本文通过对英国高等学校学生事务管理的工作理念、管理体制、管理模式等的分析和概括,以及对中英两国学生事务的比较,结合中国高校的自身实际情况,提出对提高我国学生工作实效的若干思考。

Based on the analysis and generalization of the devel-opment, connotation, management style, concept and characteris-tics of the student affairs administration in the higher education of Britain, as well as the comparison between those of China and Britain, this essay raises some feasible suggestions to improve the effectiveness of the student affairs at home. And all of these sug-gestions are in the view of the higher education reality of China, which could embody the scientific reference to Britain＇s student affairs administration in the higher education field.
