‘晓明一号’紫薇杂交育种研究

Research on breeding of Lagerstroemia indica hybridizing‘Xiaoming No.1'

为选育出紫薇优良新品种，以‘红火球紫薇’和‘红叶紫薇’为试验材料，开展紫薇杂交育种试验。研究结果表明：紫薇杂交授粉适宜时间为早上07：00-08：00，结实率最高可达92％，杂交种子萌发率达56．3％～6212％；从“红叶紫薇♂×红火球紫薇♀”杂交子代中选育出的紫薇新品种‘晓明1号’，其新叶浅紫红色，成熟叶绿色，花色深紫红（60A），部分花瓣边缘略带白边；6月中旬始花，花期长达4个月；花序平均长和宽分别为25．5em、17．3cm，花径3．99cm。‘晓明1号’兼有双亲的优良特性，其性状能稳定遗传，具有花色艳丽、花期长、花量大、生长较快等特点。

In order to breed new varieties of Lagerstroemia indica, we took L. indica ＇ Pink Velour＇ and L. indica ＇ Dy- namite＇ as testing materials to study the cross breeding of L indica. Results showed that; 7：00 -8：00 am is the best time for artificial pollination, seed setting rate up to 92%, the germination rate of hybrid seed is 56. 3% -62. 2%. L. indica hybridizing ＇Xiaoming No. I＇ had been selected from the F1 offsprings between L. indica ＇Pink Velour＇ （ ♂ ） and L. indica ＇Dynamite＇ （ ♀ ） , whose young leaves color are mauve, mature leaves are green, flower are dark mauve （60A） and some flower petals edge with a slightly white edge. It begin to flower in the middle of June, a long florescence with four months. The average length, width of inflorescence and flower diameter are 25.5 cm, 17.3 em and 3.99 cm respectively. L. indica hybridizing ＇ Xiaoming No. 1＇ has fine properties of both parents, which can be steadily inherite and has the character of showy brightly colored flowers, long flowering period, large amount of flowers and faster growth speed.
