The Difficulties and Key Techniques in Upgrading Old Berth Structures in Tianjin Port

通过分析天津港地区老码头结构加固改造过程中存在的问题和难点,提出了老码头改造原则和技术路线,开发出新建非独立靠船墩加钢板桩等七大改造关键技术,并列出各项改造技术的适用情形和优、缺点,投资少、工期短,经济效益显著,同时总结出四条改造创新点,为国内其它地区其它形式的高桩码头结构加固改造和日后新建高桩码头提供实例借鉴。

Subsequent to analyzing the problems and difficulties in updating old berth structures in Tianjin Port, the updating principles and technology roadmap have been proposed. In the process of updating study, seven key techniques have been developed, including the berthing dolphin in conjunction with steel sheet-piled wall. The applicability and merits and drawbacks are expounded for each of the techniques renovation Technology, four innovation points are summarized, thus providing reference of similar works in construction of piled berths.
