Cultivating Consciousness of Biosafety in Teaching of Pathogenic Biology and Immunology

病原生物学和免疫学是一门重要的医学基础课。近年来,生物安全事故不断出现,实验室感染事件屡有报道,给学生健康带来危害,造成严重后果。医学生在实验中不可避免要接触一些病原微生物,存在感染隐患,因此加强对学生的生物安全意识教育具有重要的紧迫性。在病原生物学和免疫学教学中,结合学科特点,将生物安全知识技能贯穿到理论和实验教学过程中,并加强考核,培养学生的生物安全意识,使其掌握相关知识和技能,具有重要的现实意义。我们在这方面做了一些探索,收到良好效果,为进一步的工作提供了基础。

Pathogenic biology and immunology is a basic medical course. Laboratory biosafety accidents occurred frequently in recently years,causing serious consequences.Medical student will contact pathogenic microorganism inevitable in their study and work.It is emergent to cultivate consciousness of biosafety among medical students.At the same time,it is one of the important goal in teaching of pathogenic biology and immunology. Some exploration has been carried out on this subject. Knowledge of biosafety was penetrated into the teaching of theoretical and laboratory course. Good results are achieved and it provides some experience for further work.
