Review of Studies on Professional Skills Competitions in the Hotel Industry of China

摘要 饭店(酒店)职业技能大赛,作为检验国内旅游院校人才培养与饭店业服务质量与水平的重要指标,分为院校国赛与行业大赛两种形式。文章列举了近年来两类赛事的举办情况,从比赛项目、评定标准、奖励办法等方面比较分析了两类赛事的优势、劣势,并提出相应的改进建议。期待大赛能够走出国门与世界技能大赛接轨,传递中国元素,展示中国水平,发出中国声音。 Professional skills competitions, grouped into those for colleges and those for hotels, are an impor- tant indicator of educational quality of tourism colleges and service quality of hotels. The two types of events held in recent years are compared in terms of competition items, evaluation standards and reward systems. Based on the analysis, the paper proposes suggestions for improvement in the hope that the competitions draw amounting attention from both home and abroad, helping to publicize Chinese culture and improve China's image around the globe.
