Computer application foundations is a compulsory public basic course for students in higher vocational colleges. Based on theoretical knowledge, the teaching of this course attaches more importance to practical teaching. The introduction of micro-lecture to traditional teaching mode can better improve teaching efficiency. Taking the content of header and footer in Word software, it illustrates the points in micro-lecture making, analyzes problems in practice, and explores micro-lecture teaching mode suitable for higher vocational computer foundations.
