漂母是司马迁笔下平凡而又不同寻常的一位劳动妇女,司马迁为了更好地塑造韩信英雄形象,以极其简省的笔墨描绘了漂母的形象、言行、性格与她的行事方式,漂母因之成为我国古代善良、仁爱、朴实,施恩而不望报答的高尚代表人物而青史流芳,漂母祠也成为历代文人墨客笔下的一座报恩祠。

Mother Piao is an ordinary and uncommon female toiler under the penmanship of Sima Qian. Sima Qian just used a few words to describe the figure, statements,actions and character of mother Piao,so that he could shape the hero image of Han Xin better. Because that,mother Piao was remembered forever for her goodness, kind-hearted,unadorned and the character which she does not remember favors what bestowed upon others. ThePiao-Mother Temple became a gratitude temple under the scholars’ pen.
