The compromising mode of police law enforcement is an innovative one put forward under the complex background of social circumstances, which not only has profound value basis of law and order, but constitutes a useful attempt to deal with the dilemma of police law enforcement practice. Lingering along the legal and illegal boundaries, the compromising mode of police law enforcement needs norms to regulate and prevent it from going astray. Therefore, legal basis for such mode should be clarified and specific measures need to be enacted so as to make the most of it in police enforcement practice.
