《中国图书馆图书分类法》第五版修订特色探析

《中国图书馆图书分类法》第五版的修订是适应新学科发展与时俱进的体现。与《中国图书馆图书分类法》第四版对比,第五版修改类目约5 200个,停用或删除类目2 500个,新增类目1 600个。这样的修订不仅反映了学科发展带来的类目的变化,而且避免了各馆编目人员因对概念理解偏差而造成的牵强归类和硬性归类现象。第五版较第四版在内容的科学性、完整性和系统性上有了较大的改进和提升,引入了复分标记,增强了类目的参见等,但仍有不足之处:一是类目名称不规范、条目不清,二是有图书无其类,有恰当的类目却无法归类。因此,建议专业团队能更好地完善其类目体系,方便图书馆业务工作人员使用。

Revised edition（ 5thedition） of Chinese Library Classification keeps pace with times and adapts to the needs of academic development. Compared with its fourth edition,it has 5,200 categories revised,2,500 deleted and 1,600 added. This edition reflects the changes brought about by academic development and also avoids hard or far-fetched categories because of different understanding of librarians towards different concepts. Though improved a lot in its scientific,complete and systematic categories by introducing subdivision marks and adding category references,it still has room to be improved such as some non-standard or obscure categories so that it would be more convenient for librarians.
