凿岩机具的现代化,是现代采掘工业的先导。在1840年的鸦片战争以前,中国的冲击凿岩技术,曾长期处于世界领先水平。1862年瑞典诺贝尔父子发明硝化甘油炸药、1896年美国发明气动凿岩机、1920年瑞典开始生产中空钎钢、1923年德国人施律泰尔发明WC-Co硬质合金、1938年首批一字型硬质合金钎头在德国诞生、1970年液压凿岩机在法国问世后,现代凿岩爆破技术和硬质合金凿岩机具,已成为人类向岩石圈索取资源,和向地下开拓生存与发展空间的主要手段。我国拥有占世界56%的制造WC-Co硬质合金的主要原料钨。1978年改革开放以来,我国硬质合金凿岩机具和液压凿岩设备取得了众多创新成就,已经再度崛起。国产凿岩机具的质量、品种已经接近或达到国际先进水平,其内销价格仅为国外同类等效产品国际市场流行价的1/10~1/3。以此为基础,我国桥隧工程和高铁技术发展神速,已处于国际领先水平,正以与日俱增的规模,进入建设海陆两条丝绸之路经济带和全球高铁网的广阔市场,中国人必将为人类文明增添新的光彩。

The upgrade and update of rock drilling tools are the prologue of the modem excavation sector. Before the Opium War in 1848, China＇s percussive rock drilling technology had long been in the forefront of the world. Since invention of nitroglycerine by Alfred Bernhard Nobel and his father Immanuel Nobel in Swede in 1862, the pneumatic rock drill invented in America in 1896, hollow drill rods put into production in 1920 in Sweden, WC-Co cemented carbide invented by a German scientist Sehrlter in 1923, the first chisel bits of cemented carbide introduced in Germany in 1938, and hydraulic rock drill come out in France in 1970, the modern rock drilling and blasting technologies and cemented carbide drilling tools and machines have become major ways for people to explore the lithosphere for resources and to expand the space for subsistence and development. Tungsten, a major material for making WC-Co cemented carbide, abounds in China and accounts for 56% of the total reserves in the world. Since the opening up and reform in 1978, China＇ s cemented carbide tools and rock drilling machines have made a lot of innovative achievements and risen again. Domestic rock drilling tools have approached and caught up with their foreign counterparts in terms of quality and type, but their domestic sales prices are just a tenth to a third of the current market prices of their foreign equivalents. Based on those, China＇ s bridge and tunnel technology and HSR have been developing rapidly and been at the forefront around the world. With increasing scale, those technologies are cutting into the huge market of building the marine and land silk roads economic belt and the HSR network. Chinese are bound to add brilliance to the entire human.
