The cooperative teaching model in the context of college English teaching is a common teaching model. Through comparing and analyzing the teacher＇s role in the model and the host＇s role in the entertaining program, the paper states that the teacher should constantly update his or her knowledge, lengthen the interactive time for the teacher and the students to prepare lessons together, and ensure that the teacher assistants have full autonomy, meanwhile the teacher assists the assistants to adjust their teaching strategies in class in time. Because the demands of the job market on graduates＇ abilities are more and more compound, college English teaching for muhilingual majors should notice their application and practice.
