摘要
采用扎根理论的研究方法,通过对两所城市29位来华留学生的深度访谈和分析编码,发现对母国世界与留学国世界的比较、想象世界与留学国世界的比较构成了来华留学生就读或积极感知或消极感知。但是,留学生就读的积极感知和消极感知可以随着语言水平的提高和某些"关键事件"的影响发生转化。留学生就读积极感知会产生留学行动选择的"增殖效应",反之,留学生消极感知产生"蔓延效应"和"连锁效应"。由此提出了高校、教师和管理人员、媒体和出版业为提升来华留学生的积极感知可采取的策略。
By using grounded theory, this study finds that international students' perceptions are based on the comparisons between the world of home country and the world of hosting country, between the world of imagination and the world of hosting country. However, the positive perception and negative perceptions can be transformed with the improvement of language skills and the occurrence of critical incidents. The positive perceptions have proliferation effects which will attract more students to study in China, while the negative perceptions have contagion effects and chain reaction. Suggestions in order to improve the perceptions of international students are provided.
