Optimization of grinding process in a bauxite plant

摘要 通过实验室对某铝土矿一段磨矿和阶段磨矿试验,得出在达到相同的磨矿细度时,一段磨矿用15min,磨矿细度达到-200目92.31%,但是-600目矿粒产率高达65.78%;在阶段磨矿中粗磨8min,再磨5min可以获得磨矿细度-200目92.87%,-600目产率降至57.25%。可见阶段磨矿不仅能提高磨矿细度,而且能减少细粒组分的产生。将实验室结论应用于工业实践,得出两段磨磨矿系统不仅能提高磨机处理能力和磨矿细度,而且将-600目含量降低了12.55%,非常有利于接下来的浮选及沉降过滤。 After grinding experiments for the bauxite in the laboratory, grinding fineness of -200 meshes was 92.31%, and grinding fineness of -600 meshes was 65.78% after one - stage grinding for 15 minutes. After rough grinding for 8 minutes and two - stage grinding for 5 minutes, grinding fineness of -200 meshes was 92.87%, and grinding fineness of -600 meshes was 57.25 %. From this experiments, stage grinding not only could increase grind- ing fineness but also reduce components of fine particles. After industrial practice, it was concluded that two - stage grinding system not only could in- crease treatment capacity of the grinding mill and grinding fineness, but also reduce components of -600 meshes by 12.55%, which was beneficial for the following flotation and settlement and filtering.
