用复合乳化剂合成核壳结构丙烯酸酯乳液及其涂膜性能

摘要 以十二烷基二苯醚二磺酸盐(DOWFAX 2 A 1)和高分子表面活性剂BASF J-678为乳化剂,采用半连续乳液聚合法制备丙烯酸酯类硬核软壳结构的乳液,研究了乳化剂复合方式、BASF J-678的加入方式和加入量等对乳液及涂膜性能的影响,并用透射电镜和差示扫描量热仪对聚合物进行了表征。结果表明,采用核层使用DOWFAX 2 A 1、壳层使用BASF J-678的乳化剂复合方式所得核壳乳液的稳定性较好,单体转化率高,粒径较小且分布窄;在壳层聚合阶段滴加BASF J-678可以明显提高乳液的稳定性,减小乳胶粒径分布指数,增强涂膜的耐水性和附着力。 A core-shell acrylic emulsion was syn- thesized with dodecylated diphenyl ether disulfonate (DOWFAX 2 A 1 ) and polymeric surfactant BASF J-678 as composite emulsifiers by semi-continuous emulsion polymerization. The effects of composite mode of these two emulsifiers and the adding way and amount of BASF J-678 were studied on emulsion and film properties. The synthesized emulsion was characterized by transmission electron microscope and differential scanning calorimeter. The results showed that the emulsion synthesized by thecomposite mode of DOWFAX 2 A 1 for core and BASF J-678 for shell had good stability, high mono- mer conversion, small particle size and narrow parti- cle distribution. The introduction of BASF J-678 during shell layer polymerization obviously improved emulsion stability, reduced particle size distribution index and enhanced water resistance and adhesion of film.
